Rick Mora Interview on Being of Service

When studying up on Native American Actor Rick Mora you will find he dedicates much of his freetime supporting causes he cares about.
Jay: Rick you spend alot of your personal time to causes what in your life inspired your mission?
Rick: My upbringing, and all the experiences of what I have witnessed in my lifetime. I am filled with empathy and can easily take myself outside of my own world and feel for others. There but for the grace of the creator, go I. One thing is, I do not judge others. I believe in what Albert Einstein said and I cannot say it any better:

“A human being is a part of a whole, called by us “universe”, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” -Albert Einstein

Jay: What are the projects you are most interested in supporting these days and why?

Rick: Any I can possibly fit in my schedule where I can make a difference. I am very honored to be an Ambassador for the Red Crystal Gala, a E. Joyce Thompson charity dedicated to serving Native American victims of domestic violence and sexual assault on the reservation. I am humbled to participate with the Heartfelt foundation, a volunteer-driven international service organization helping families in the greatest need and Hounds and Heroes supporting our Military and Wounded Warriors.

Jay: Tell your fans how you got started and how they might get started in cause oriented activism?

Rick: Feel it, just feel it, go where your heart takes you. In humility and kindness, you will find your hearts path… Then you will discover yours.
